 Bollywood is India's movie industry based in Mumbai (Bombay). Mumbai has been the center of Indian cinema since 1913.

  From the early age of seven, children enroll in acting lessons, and throughout their childhood and teenage years, they start getting cast in films. 

The film industry has favoritism toward male actors which causes some females to resort to plastic surgery in an attempt to get the roles they want. Once well-known they sign endorsement deals with different companies.

Bollywood has seemed to strike the right chords with many international audiences. India's movie industry - Bollywood - is now the biggest in the world, 

producing over 1000 movies in a year and less than a third of those are actually in Hindi. Aside from that, Bollywood has also made its mark on Hollywood, with nominations at the Oscars and Grammys (ahem, Slumdog Millionaire).
